Alex and I went away for my birthday we took in Mweleera on the saturday it was foggy up on the mountain but we had a nice climb parts of it were tough, we went up by doo lough between the two lakes and took in the views of croagh patrick on the way up. We went camping on Clew Bay golf course on the saturday night. We left early the next morning for fear of being caught. We were not really meant to camp there but we could not find anywhere else! It was after 11 pm byt the time we set up camp.
Alex planned a surprise for my birthday he brought me Kayaking to Clew Bay on July 9th of July 2011. We arrived at a pier on the sunday morning. We were having our picnic breakfast this guy rory got out of a camper van and introduced himself to us. It was then I found out that he had planned this all along.
The day was amazing we went out to the light house and on the way we passed a seal colony. I need a better camera because even though I was near the seals in my kayak I could not get a good picture of them. It was a different world exploring around there. It was so beautiful and were were so lucky with the weather! It was a lovely day! What wonderful memories.
