Sunday 18th July at the beginning of the Arts Festival in Galway Ireland. A theatre company called Macnas run a themed parade each year which is theatrical and interactive with the crowds, its lots of fun! The event attracts the locals and tourists in Galway and this year in 2010 it started in Spanish Arch and meandered through the streets of this wonderful city. Here are some images.
